The Jim “Catfish” Hunter ALS Foundation relies heavily on local fundraising efforts, based in Perquimans County to support patient grants and outreach efforts.
The two primary events are Jimmy’s ALS Walk (previously the Walk to D’Feet ALS) and the Jim “Catfish” Hunter Softball Tournament.
The Walk and the Tournament are favorites of folks all across northeastern North Carolina. Teams come from hours away to support this amazing cause!
Walk Funds Raised:
Over $30,000 in finds raised each year!
Softball Tournament Funds Raised:
The first tournament brought in $1000 and continues to grow each year… Now each year the tournament raises funds in excess of $20,000!
